Wrapping Up Summer 2016
If I've said in once, I'll say it again, I don't pay enough attention to this blog. It's unfortunate. My only excuse is that I've felt like an uncreative lump and that any creativity I put into this blog is for naught because WHO READS IT. Also I had a lot of Pokemon Go to be playing. My lumpness has yet to be conquered and I have yet to catch 'em all, but even if no one sees it, I think putting SOMETHING out there is better than NOTHING. So here's a new blog layout and a Summer Wrap-Up featuring some good music and media that I liked and a few videos I created these past few months.

I got super into gardening this year and have all these videos I made about that.
MUSIC
Here's the songs I listened to this summer. It's NOT extensive mostly because I was really just listening to Hamilton and random musicals. Oh well. More songs are coming out alllllll the time.
MOVIES & TV
Here's a few of my favorite movies and TV shows from this summer. Some are brand new; some are things I recently discovered; some I've known about for a while and finally checked out **cough, cough, Attack on Titan, cough**. All are worth checking out
If you can get over subtitles, this show is twisty, turny, emotional, and simply amazing.
Beautiful animation and great story and coming to Netflix really soon.
The most recent in the excellent MCU series. Possibly my favorite. And if you know me those are some big shows to fill.
Enough has been written about this show, so I think you already know it is a worth a watch.
This felt more like a Star Trek movie than any of the other recent ones and I did not stop smiling the whole way through.
A weird little show that came out last year and I had NEVER heard about. (Bad marketing there, folks.) Funny and strange and sadly cancelled too soon. I hesitate to recommend watching it even because it ended on SUCH A CLIFFHANGER.
I am constantly impressed by the depth of storytelling packed into this show. It is deceptively heartfelt and beautifully realized.
I lost steam after the winter finale, not sure it could live up to the the first half of the season. This show would do better if it had fewer episodes to fill because it tends to meander a bit. All in all a solid show and I'm looking forward to Season 2.
I'm not sure what it is about this show that I enjoy so much. Perhaps the great acting, the dark and weird humor, my disbelief that this group of messes always look so put together, I don't know. Season 3 is on FXX now.
