Holiday Manicures | Day 9

Holiday Manicures | Day 9

Yesterday I gave you my favorite Holiday Makeup Look. Today I have a simple Holiday Manicure and some bonus pictures and links to the really cool festive manicures I gathered for inspiration this season. Hopefully they will inspire you too!

My Manicure

What I used: Dark Red (Nicka K in Red Hot), Dark Green (Sinful Colors in Last Chance), Glittery Gold (Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in 120 Go for Gold), Loose Glitter (Ciate Sequin in Dallas Dolly), Top Coat (Seche Vite), and tweezers

How to recreate this look:

  1. Paint your pointer, middle, and pinkie nails with red on one hand and green on the other (or you can use just own color if you prefer). Paint your thumb and ring nails with the gold polish. Let all the polish dry for a minute or two.
  2. Apply a second coat of the gold glitter polish. For the red and green, depending on your polish, you might require 2 or 3 coats to get an opaque color. For your final coat of those polishes, go one finger at a time and as your polish is still wet carefully place 6-7 flakes of glitter on your nail.
  3. Let all your nails dry for another minute or two, then apply your fast drying top coat.
