June in the Garden, Part Deux | Plant Updates and Channel Updates
The first thing you'll notice when watching this video is that my hair is blue. Amazing, right?
Bleached...
Now Blue!
The other thing you also probably noticed before clicking on the video is that the channel name has changed. I'm still doing the Daphne Has Fun blog which will be an umbrella for all my various exploits, but I wanted to have more of a focus for this particular YouTube Channel. generally, I felt like with that state of the world as it is, I needed to make something that has positive benefits to society. I hope to create videos that have meaning and are useful and are worthwhile. A lot more details to come, but for now, know that Gardening is staying a priority on the channel. Sustainable Food Systems, local food, etc. fit really well on the path I want to carve on with my videos, so my garden fits right into that.
Other than that, keep an eye out here and on Green Boxes Productions which will be the central home for this part of my work (though everything will be cross-posted). And if you're more interested in the geeky side of stuff, that will be here as well and over on the Maybe Show which is getting a refresh as we speak.
As for the garden tour. STUFF IS TOTALLY GROWING. I'm always surprised when I grow stuff that I can actually harvest and eat. Radishes season is over for me. Lettuce season is here and pea season is on our doorstep. Check out the video for all the details and all the rain that I narrowly avoided.
