Photos from the Past: My First Digital Camera
I've dabbled in photography for years now. I've learned bits and pieces about taking better photos, experimented with settings and editing, and now I have folders and folders of photos. I want to do something with them. I want to put them up on here. This first set is going to be some of the first digital photos I took with my first relatively good camera. It was a Nikon Dimage something or other, halfway between a point-and-shoot and a DSLR in customization if not technology, and it came with me to college most days. I took the shots from my tiny memory card, loaded them onto my giant laptop and edited them like crazy in Aperture. I really did think I was so artistic. :)
And that is the beginning of my photography story. Well, sort of the beginning. I actually started out with a little film camera and mainly took zoo and museum pictures. If I can figure out where those are, find any good ones and scan them, I might share those too. If I can't find those, I still have lots to share.
